Little Rock City Clerk Records

The Little Rock City Clerk is at City Hall, 500 West Markham Street, Room 200, Little Rock, AR 72201. Phone: (501) 371-6803. City Clerk Allison Segars leads the office. Deputy City Clerk Shaqueena McDowell and Assistant City Clerk Tabitha Cooke also serve the public.

The City Clerk keeps all official city records. That includes motions, resolutions, and ordinances passed by the City Board of Directors. The office also holds the City Code, meeting minutes, Lobbyist Registration Forms, Statements of Financial Interest for City Officials, and land records such as Oakland and Fraternal Cemetery Record Books and deeds. Improvement District petitions and annexation petitions are filed here as well.

FOIA Requests in Little Rock

Little Rock has a dedicated FOIA Division within the City Attorney's Office. Chief Deputy City Attorney Alex Betton leads that division. You can submit requests in person, by phone, by email to FOIA@LittleRock.gov, by fax, or by mail. Arkansas law requires a response within three business days for non-confidential records.

The city uses NextRequest software for processing public records requests. That system tracks requests and keeps a record of how each one was handled. Written requests are preferred and help make sure your request gets the right records.

Little Rock Police Department Records

Police and accident reports are generally available eight hours after the report is taken. Report fees range from $5.00 to $10.00. You can request police reports online, in person, or by phone. Online incident report requests are handled through CopLogic. Online accident reports are available through LexisNexis BuyCrash.

Pulaski County District Court

The Pulaski County District Court serves all of Pulaski County, including Little Rock. It is located at 3001 W. Roosevelt Rd, Little Rock, Arkansas 72204. Phone: 501-340-6824. Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

This court has county-wide jurisdiction over misdemeanor cases, preliminary felony cases, civil cases under $25,000, and small claims up to $5,000. A certified records check costs $5.00. Court filings are accessible through Arkansas CourtConnect for most case types.

County Records for Little Rock Residents

Most court filings, property records, and vital records for Little Rock residents are maintained by Pulaski County. That includes circuit court civil and criminal records, divorce records, land records, and probate filings. The Pulaski County Courthouse handles the bulk of formal record requests tied to the county's judicial system.

Property records for Little Rock addresses are held by the Pulaski County Assessor. Tax records are managed by the Pulaski County Collector. Both offices are publicly accessible.
