Marriage licenses cost $60.00. Both parties must appear in person together and bring a valid government-issued photo ID and their social security card. There is no waiting period for applicants who are 18 or older. Licenses are valid for 60 days from the date of issue and must be returned to the Clerk's office for recording within that period. Minors require parental consent and a 5-day waiting period applies. No blood test is required anywhere in Arkansas. Certified copies of marriage records are $5.00 each.
Probate records maintained by this office include decedent estates, small estates, guardianships, and civil commitments. Adoption records are sealed and not available to the public. Full probate filings run approximately $165.00. DBA (Doing Business As) filings are available here as well, with a $25.00 registration fee.
