Marriage licenses cost $60.00 cash only. No checks or credit cards are accepted for this fee. Both applicants must appear together in person with a valid government-issued photo ID. Both parties must be at least 18 years old without parental consent. The license is valid for 60 days and must be returned and recorded within that window. Ministers must register credentials with this office before performing weddings; there is a $5.00 filing fee, payable in cash only. The County Clerk also maintains probate records including estates, guardianships, adoptions, and conservatorships. Adoption records are sealed. Probate filings cost approximately $165.00 to open.
