Woodruff County Circuit Clerk Records

The Circuit Clerk serves as clerk for all circuit court divisions in Woodruff County. This includes civil cases, criminal cases, domestic relations matters, and juvenile court. As the ex-officio recorder, this office also records land documents for the county. These include deeds, mortgages, deeds of trust, liens, and subdivision plats. Land records filed here are open to the public.

Court records held by this office cover civil case filings, criminal case histories, divorce and child custody files, child support orders, and eviction cases. Woodruff County Clerk: Vital and Probate Records

The County Clerk issues marriage licenses and maintains records of all licenses issued in Woodruff County. Both applicants must appear in person with valid government-issued photo ID. Applicants must be at least 18 years old without parental consent. License fees are approximately $60.00. Licenses are valid for 60 days from issuance and are valid anywhere in the state.

This office also handles probate court records. Probate files include decedent estate proceedings, guardianships, and conservatorship cases. Adoption records are sealed under Arkansas law and are not available to the public through a standard records request. Beyond probate and vital records, the County Clerk keeps county court orders, quorum court minutes, DBA (fictitious name) filings, and voter registration data.
