Lonoke County Circuit Clerk public records website

The Circuit Clerk handles all civil, domestic relations, criminal, and juvenile court filings and also serves as the ex-officio recorder for land documents filed in Lonoke County.

Court records held here include civil case filings, criminal case histories, divorce and domestic relations records, and child support files. All court records are kept as permanent records, with the exception of juvenile records, which are restricted by state law. Land documents recorded here include deeds, mortgages, liens, surety bonds, and other property instruments.

Filing fees: new civil or domestic case: $165.00; reopening a case: $50.00; certified copy of a court document: $5.00. Recording fees for land instruments are $15.00 for the first page and $5.00 for each additional page. Lonoke County Clerk: Marriage Licenses and Probate

This office issues marriage licenses, handles probate records, and maintains voter registration. Marriage licenses cost $60.00 for most applicants. If both parties completed a state-approved premarital counseling course, the fee drops to $57.00. Both people must apply in person with valid ID. There is no waiting period in Arkansas. Licenses are valid for 60 days and must be returned to the Clerk's office after the ceremony.

Probate records held here cover decedent estates, small estates, guardianships, and adoptions. Adoption records are sealed by state law. The office also handles DBA filings, notary services, quorum court records, equalization board records, and historical records useful for genealogy research. Voter registration is available in person and must be completed at least 30 days before an election. Copies are generally $1.00 per page with a $5.00 certification fee added for certified copies.

Lonoke County Assessor property records website

The Assessor's site allows you to search real estate records and file personal property assessments online, making it convenient for Lonoke County property owners who live near Cabot or elsewhere in the county.

All real and personal property is valued at 20% of market value. Real property assessment runs from the first Monday of January through July 1. Personal property must be assessed from the first Monday of January through May 31. Late filings carry a 10% penalty. The Amendment 79 homestead credit can reduce taxes on qualifying primary residences. Owners 65 and older or 100% disabled may apply for a tax freeze on their assessed value.

Lonoke County Sheriff public records and arrest records

The Sheriff's Office handles arrest records, incident reports, booking logs, and the county jail roster for all individuals taken into custody in Lonoke County.

Reports can only be picked up during regular business hours. If your name is on the report, one copy is free. If your name is not on the report, the fee is $10.00 per request. Payment is by check or money order, and a valid photo ID is required. All visitation at the Lonoke County Jail is conducted by video kiosk through SmartJail; there is no in-person visitation. Civil process fees: serving summons, capias, or garnishment: $50.00; serving a writ of execution: $120.00; serving a notice to vacate: $30.00.

Cabot City Records
